Call for observations of the damage of heat wave 2019 on plants.

24/07/2019

Share your observations of the damage on plants observed after the heat wave of June. With your help researchers from CNRS and INRA wish to identify species that have suffered from these exceptional conditions.

Damages of the heat wave

This year, recurring heat waves have hit France since the beginning of the summer. Following the heat wave of last June, many of you have certainly observed damage to the leaves, flowers or fruits of different species of plants.

With your help researchers* wish to identify species that have suffered from these exceptional conditions and the type of damage observed (burns, sudden drying – not to be confused with the effects of drought).
