AREFLH is organizing an Online training on “The Project & the Planform SmartProtect: Smart IPM techniques” on Thursday 20 April 2023 from 10 am to 11:30 am, online in Microsoft Teams.

The EU project SmartProtect aims to stimulate knowledge flow in the regional AKISs (Agriculture Knowledge and Innovation System) across the EU and connect these on the innovative potential of advanced methodologies for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in vegetable production, integrating precision farming technologies and data analytics.

The main objective of the training is to inform about the project, Platform SmartProtect and to present different Smart IPM techniques and the results of some case studies in the field.

This training will be the opportunity to discuss and exchange on the problems of the fruit and vegetable sector and to strengthen the collaboration between farmers, scientific researchers and the industry. 

This free event addresses to producer organization, farmers, cooperatives, professional organizations, scientific communities, industries and other stakeholders related to the food sector.
