The ASA Programme is part of a series of projects for the Malagasy population. It is funded by the 10th European Development Fund, following a decision taken on 25 February 2014. The budget amounts to 20 million euros or 60 billion Ariary.
This 5-year program is funded by the European Union since February 2014 under the 10th EDF (European Development Fund).
The aim of the ASA program is to contribute sustainably to the fight against poverty in Madagascar and the preservation of the natural environment, through the improvement of the income of the producers around Antananarivo and the access of the populations to a market secure agricultural products and wood energy.
