Grassland Science and Renewable Plant Resources (GNR) is a group of scientists engaged in research and teaching in the area of sustainable cropping systems. The main research directions of GNR include assessment of structural and functional characteristics of crop production systems by application of remote sensing, development of novel cropping systems (e.g. agroforestry and intercropping) and valorisation of low quality biomass resources for energy and material uses.
